Jefunira Camp: A cool way to spend your summer!

January 1, 2008

Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your interest in a summer counseling position with Jefunira Camp.  We pride ourselves on the superb reputation we have built over the past fifteen years, and we owe much of our success to the strength of our staff.  We are glad that you are interested in joining our group of creative, energetic, compassionate, and talented counselors.

Jefunira Camp is committed to providing a diverse and supportive community where children can develop and strengthen their self-esteem and self-confidence through non-skill based and non-competitive play.  We offer a wide array of activities and an exceptional staff to camper ratio (of approximately 1:7) to help achieve our goal of meeting the individual needs and interests of all children.   As a staff we are committed to making the summer entertaining and memorable for a diverse group of children, but we also want to work with people who are looking to have a fun-filled and rewarding summer experience for themselves.  Additionally, we view the camp experience as an excellent opportunity for individuals to strengthen and build upon their understanding and appreciation of young children.

We suggest that you visit our web site, www.jefunircamp.com, to help give you a better idea of the type of program we provide, as well as the kinds of skills, talents and interests we are searching for in our staff.  In general, we are seeking energetic and experienced individuals who enjoy working with children in a wide variety of settings.

We have a rolling interview and hiring process, so I encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible.  If you have any further questions about Jefunira Camp or the job positions, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Again, thank you for your interest.

Sincerely,

Jeff Gamble
